Many Believe because their thoughts are their own and unknown to others, they imagine they can harbour all sorts of unworthy sentiments and feelings so long as they do not actually allow these feelings to betray themselves in corresponding actions.
They do not realise that every bad mental habit indulged in against precept of #perfection not only inclines them to the act, but it lowers the ideal, and weakens their moral nature and power of resistance.

That's what the Bible meant when It says: ''whatsoever things are good, whatsoever things are honourable, and whatsoever things are of good report...... If they be any #thought #THINK on those things; we are actually responsible for the kind of thought we harbour in our minds which has a direct influence on what we do outwardly. Your #thought is a servant of your #will; and your body is a slave of your thoughts! Your actions will always reflect your thought which you #WILLINGLY allowed in your minds and pondered on. Something very salient the Bible talks about when it says: ''The weapons of our warfare are not carnal but, mighty through God to the #PULLING down of #STRONGHOLDS #CASTING down #IMAGINATIONS and every High thing that exalts itself against the knowledge of #TRUTH and bringing into #CAPTIVITY every #THOUGHT to the obedience of Christ! that's my point exactly: ''Bringing into #captivity'' you can only bring something into captivity when you have influence and power over it, therefore the Bible is pointing to us vividly our #dominion over what we #think; in other words, you choose what you think!. How sad it is; seeing that the reverse is the case, so many are slaves of their thought. that Habit of masturbation, smoking, illicit sex alcoholism etc is actually powered by our lack of control over what we choose to think, and that in turn is powered by our ignorance of the fact that we choose what to think. over the years we have lost the mental discipline to control our thought and have allowed our minds to wonder-off randomly and have inclined us with the very acts of what we think and have become enslaved to something that should have been our servants, that's why some other religion aside Christianity can achieve mental discipline and become even more morally impeccable when some believers are actually incorrigible in their moral vices; we believers always think transformation was spiritual no! It is the regeneration of our spirit man that is spiritual, transformation is totally physical and a #wilful act. The Bible says: Be ye not conformed to this world but be #transformed by the renewing of your mind.
More so, whichever #thought is #true, #Honourable and gives you #confidence should be what you allow in your minds. Take control of your life and destiny by taking charge of your #thoughts that's how to be super excellent and successful in life.
